Importing a Game from a USB/SD Card Reader

This guide will walk you through the steps to import a game from a USB drive or SD card reader, ensuring a smooth experience. Please follow the instructions carefully.

Requirements

  • Camera-Pan v3 Processing Unit

  • USB drive or SD card inserted into a USB card reader

  • File system format of USB/SD card: exFAT or FAT32

  • A device with Wi-Fi capability (smartphone, tablet, or computer)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Connect the USB Drive

  1. Insert the USB Drive: Plug your USB drive or USB card reader (with SD card inserted) into one of the four USB ports located on the front of the Camera-Pan v3 Processing Unit.

Step 2: Connect to the Camera-Pan Wi-Fi

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi:

    • On your device (smartphone, tablet, or computer), go to the Wi-Fi settings.

    • Look for and connect to the Wi-Fi network named Camera-Pan-v3.

Step 3: Access the Web Interface

  1. Open a Web Browser:

    • Launch your preferred web browser on the connected device.

    • In the address bar, enter http://10.42.0.1 and press Enter.

Step 4: Log In to the System

  1. Enter Login Credentials:

    • You will be prompted to enter a code to log in. Input the appropriate code and proceed.

Step 5: Navigate to Import

  1. Click the Import Button:

    • Once logged in, locate and click the Import button on the main dashboard.

Step 6: Select USB Drive

  1. Choose Your USB Drive:

    • On the import page, find the dropdown box that lists available USB drives.

    • Select the USB drive or SD card reader you wish to import from.

Step 7: Mount the USB Drive

  1. Mount the USB Drive:

    • Click on the Mount USB button to prepare the selected drive for importing.

Step 8: Select Import Type

  1. Choose Import Method:

    • You will have two options:

      • Reolink (for importing Reolink Duo recordings)

      • Single File (for importing a specific game)

    • Select your preferred option.

Step 9: Choose the Game

  1. Select the Game:

    • A list of games will be displayed. Click on the game you wish to import.

Step 10: Start the Import Process

  1. Initiate Import:

    • Click the Start Import button to begin the import process.

Step 11: Completion and Dashboard Access

  1. Wait for Completion:

    • The import will start, and once it is complete, you will be redirected to the dashboard.

Enjoy Your Imported Game

  • You can now watch the panorama from the imported game.

  • Additionally, you can start a video process using the Camera-Pan v3 mobile app.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure your USB drive or SD card is formatted as exFAT or FAT32.

  • If the Camera-Pan v3 does not appear in your Wi-Fi settings, restart your device and try connecting again.

  • If you encounter any errors during the import process, double-check the game file format and compatibility.
