Use this instruction guide to help setup on match day with the v3.
INITIAL SETUP
Extend the tripod legs to their maximum width and tighten the screws to secure them in place.
Open the waterproof carry case.
Connect the camera to the tripod head
Attach the tripod head to the top of the tripod by screwing it in securely.
Connect both the ethernet and DC of one end of the long cable to the camera and the other end to external ports on the waterproof case.
Ensure the long cable is untangled and let it fall down the side of the tripod mast.
Adjust the tripod head to an angle you feel will be suitable.
POWER AND CONNECTION SETUP
Leave the battery inside the foam inserts of the case.
Plug the internal ethernet case connector into the ethernet port of the Processing Unit.
Plug the DC cable coming from the internal case connector into the battery to give the camera power.
Plug the power cable of the Processing Unit into the the battery to give the Processing Unit power.
Raise the camera mast gradually by extending one section at a time, starting from the top section. We recommend going as high, but as safely possible. Refer to the mast setup guide for more information.
VIEWING SETUP
On your mobile device, install the Camera-Pan app if you do not already have it.
Connect your mobile device to the WiFi of the Processing Unit. If you need help doing this follow the Connecting to the Processing Unit guide.
Click Capture from the menu.
Click Check View to check the positioning of the camera
Click the try again button if you move tripod to generate a new picture of the camera's view.
When you're ready, on back on the Capture page, click Start Recording
ADJUSTMENTS AND FINAL SETUP
Look at the picture on your mobile device and adjust the camera angle as needed to ensure optimal viewing of the match. If needed lower the tripod again and adjust the ball head.
Ensure all screws are tightened before leaving the tripod.
When you want to end the recording, go back to the app, on the Dashboard page, click Stop Recording.
Make sure to go to the settings page after that, and Shutdown the Processing Unit.
You can unplug everything and pack the kit away.
